The rubbing alcohol and alcohol-based sanitisers most often used to kill bacteria are solutions of alcohol, either ethyl alcohol or isopropyl alcohol, both of which are amphiphile chemical compounds. The properties of these alcohols allow bonding with and breakdown water-based membranes and disrupt protein structures suspended in water. The molecules in the membranes and proteins easily bond with the alcohol molecules. Because single-celled micro-organisms like bacteria and viruses are primarily composed of water, with fatty proteins suspended within them, alcohol’s amphiphile characteristics make it incredibly effective as a sanitising agent. Cells exposed to it cannot survive in alcohol’s presence for more than a few minutes.
In addition to that we have added two additional actives to the aerosol fogger, which ensures total disinfection and provide residual disinfection to the surfaces. This means that once the alcohol has evaporated, the other additives remain on the surface to continuously disinfect until washed or rubbed away:
The first is our Enviro disinfectant which are at the standard required as per the EN1276 Test Report attached. This is backed by the raw material components for which the Lonza document is attached. The purpose of this document is to demonstrate the effectiveness of the ability of the product to kill SARS type viruses.
According to EN 1276, the product shall demonstrate at least a 5 log reduction when diluted and tested under simulated clean and dirty conditions and under the obligatory test conditions (four selected test organisms, 200C +/- 10C, 5min +/-10s).
Under simulated clean conditions the test item, ENVIRO DISINFECTANT, 17-CHL-0548-02, demonstrates more than a log 5 reduction for strains P. aeruginosa, E. coli, S. aureus and E. hirae, for one concentrated test: 10%.
Under simulated dirty condition the test item ENVIRO DISINFECTANT, 17-CHL-0548-02, demonstrates more than a 5-log reduction for strains P. aeruginosa, E. coli, S. aureus and E. hirae, for one concentration tested: 10%.
The second is G-Cide, which is a stabilised glutaraldehyde used in medical and other disinfecting applications. G-Cide is unique in that it does not require alcohol to effectively kill 99.9% of bacteria, viruses, fungi, moulds, and spores. G-Cide is a unique biocide (able to kill living organisms, especially microorganisms) that is used in our disinfectant range as the active ingredient to kill 99.9% of all germs it comes into contact with including the Corona Virus.
Overall an extremely powerful disinfecting product, in a convenient fogger application. Professional use is recommended, and training of the relevant staff members to ensure safety and compliance.

Place the aerosol in the centre of the room on a flat surface, preferably on the floor, with paper or cloth underneath. Point the nozzle away from yourself to depress the actuator un-locked in position on. Note the aerosol sprays directly upwards. Put down on the prepared floor area and leave the room immediately. Close the door when leaving. Leave the room for one hour, allowing the fog to settle. Ventilate the area for 30 minutes, by opening all doors and windows before occupying the room again.
This 300 ml container is sufficient for 150 cubic metres of room space. For larger areas calculate accordingly. Height of room as well as airflow may affect level of coverage.

Attachment NO1 – Lonza Issues Guidance on Infection Control
Regarding Novel Coronaviruses (2019-nCOV) Lonza, a global leader in biocides & disinfectant formulated solutions, is following the current coronavirus (2019-nCOV,), outbreak closely and providing guidance to help reduce the risk of infection. An outbreak of respiratory illness caused by a novel coronavirus (2019-nCOV)*,** was first detected in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China in late December 2019. The origin of this virus has not yet been confirmed, but it is now known to spread from person to person.
To date, thousands of 2019-nCOV infections have been reported in China, and they are being reported in a growing number of international locations, including Europe, the United States and Canada. As the number of cases of novel coronavirus continues to rise, the World Health Organization (WHO) has declared a Public Health Emergency.
Coronaviruses (CoV) are a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV). 2019-nCOV is a new strain that has not been previously identified. However, due to a general susceptibility of coronaviruses to chemical disinfection, strategies are available to help prevent transmission and infection.
Standard recommendations to prevent infection spread include regular hand washing, especially before and after food preparation, before eating, after toilet use and after handling animals or animal waste, covering mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing, thoroughly cooking meat and eggs. Avoid close contact with anyone showing symptoms of respiratory illness such as coughing and sneezing.
Appropriate cleaning and disinfection strategies are recommended to help control the spread of dangerous pathogens, such as the 2019-nCOV. Lonza’s Microbial Control Solutions business offers formulations for use as hard surface disinfectant cleaners. Multiple Lonzagard® formulations have demonstrated “virucidal activity against enveloped viruses” as stipulated by the EN14476:2013 +A2 2019, which encompasses Coronavirus. These include Lonzagard® DR-25aN Disinfectant Cleaner, Lonzagard® DR-70 Disinfectant Cleaner, Lonzagard® DR-LS-13N Disinfectant Cleaner, Lonzagard® DR-19aB Disinfectant and Lonzagard®
