New dates, new venue and new partner for Organic & Natural Products Expo Africa 2023

Feedback and notes from our event in 2022:

With COVID restrictions being relaxed only in late Q2 2022, and our target dates being end October, we knew we had our work cut out for us. Fortunately as an industry we came together and were able to pull of an event that ticked the boxes for a first time show.

There were of course some difficulties which we needed to overcome and some learnings to shape our path forward with this event. The loss of a generator on day 1 was the most problematic, and the unpredictable weather was a big influencer but out of our control. Parking for visitors too was tricky despite us having made provisions with a school a short distance down the road. There were many factors that influenced smaller than anticipated visitor numbers but despite this, post show feedback has been honest and well received with the majority of participants feeling that the show was a success, and something on which much can be built.

The most rewarding aspect was seeing many smaller exhibitors literally selling out and having to urgently restock their stands, while at the same time rubbing shoulders with buyers from the likes of Makro, Jackson’s Real Food Market and Fresh Earth.

We’ve listened to those who were happy, and more importantly those who were not.

Whilst we as organisers boast many years of expo experience, we don’t know it all, but what we do know is that the Organic & Natural Product Expo belongs to all of us and is an important event for this industry and all those in it.

We can promise you that the 2023 event is going to be bigger and better than 2022, and along with our portal and B2B virtual conference will continue to be the only 24/7 – 365 day a year industry platform.

Together with all of our partners we look forward to growing the platform year on year to the benefit of all.

See you in September!
