The Serdyn family farms has farmed on Weltevrede in the Riebeek Valley since 1916. Our primary focus is on grapes, being Ecocert Certified Organic and our whole farm certified Demeter PGS Biodynamic. We are focused on producing healthy, tasty products for consumption. Our focus is building soil and plant health to get a product on the table, thinking life.

Our main focus is the production of quality organic certified wines and spirits.

Our oldest Chenin Blanc still in production was planted in in 1969, today it is a textbook example of Old Steen which is in natural balance. The care that goes into our oldest vines is also the care taken with the young so that it will last the test of time. We are proud of the fact that a third of our vineyards have old vine status(older than 35 years)

Introducing SRTN Distilling where tradition meet innovation. Named in honor of the Serdyn family legacy, originating from the Dutch name "Sertyn", we take pride in our heritage. Inspired by these roots, we continually strive to push boundaries and redefine excellence and do things a SRTN (sur-tuhn) way.
