Situated on the R328, 45km outside of Oudtshoorn at the foot of the Swartberg Mountains, between Aloes and Almond trees lies the farm Aalwynkoppe.

On the farm you'll find freshly harvested garlic which we are selling in bulk and smaller sizes.

We started our business in 2020, during the lock-down. We were forced to get other sources of income and became experts in our very fine and delicious recipes of pickled garlic.

The name "Nuts about Garlic" were inspired by both our locally planted Garlic and Almonds (this is where the "Nuts" are coming in). We are in the process of incorporating the almonds into our garlic products like, Almond and Garlic Salad Topping, Almond and Garlic Salt and puree's. This will happen in the near future, as our trees are only producing for the first time in 2022.
