Mzuzu Coffee. We are an Apex producer organization with nearly 3,000 smallholder farmers in six Primary Cooperative Societies and organized in business centers that form up business zones. Eventually, these business zones form the six Primary Cooperative Societies that make up the Mzuzu Coffee Planters Cooperative Union Limited. 25% of growers are women. 80% of the coffees are of specialty grade scoring 80% and above on the SCAA scale (Specialty Coffee Association Scale).
