Catching up with Warren and Fahim on Al Ansaar Radio!

On 15 July, Al Ansaar Radio’s Fahim Jamadar sat down with Warren Hickinbotham, the co-founder of the Organic & Natural Products Expo Africa.

July 24, 2026

They had a wonderful chat about everything from how the expo began as a passion project back in 2018 to how it has blossomed into a massive support system for our local small businesses.

Warren shared some incredible stories about the growing demand for sustainable, homegrown products, mentioning local treasures like Buchu, Rooibos, and Honeybush tea that make our South African green economy so unique. He also highlighted how the expo boosts our local community, bringing in international visitors who support our neighbourhood hotels, restaurants, and transport services. Warren’s best advice for aspiring green entrepreneurs in the area? “Just do it!” Start small, solve a personal need, and watch it grow.
