Food security is a concern for many people, including those who live in areas that are susceptible to natural disasters or political unrest. One of the main causes for a food crisis is because there is either not enough food to go around or the price for food increases. If you have a stockpile of water, canned fruit, canned vegetables, and canned meats or tuna, you will be ready to survive if something terrible happens.
However, in this article we will focus on superfoods that are easy to access and store as they offer nutritional benefits and are packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants – perfect for when something goes wrong.
Here are 5 superfoods you can stock up on to help you survive a food crisis:

Almonds should be stored in an airtight container preferably in the refrigerator or freezer. Almonds should not be stored at room temperature for periods of time, so your pantry is not a good idea.
